Flint Hills Resources has released the third video in the 8-part series on the Bastrop-Austin Texas (BATX) Pipeline project. Environmental Manager Kristin Rucker-Suire explains how environmental regulations, permitting, and best practices guide the project before, during, and after construction.

The BATX team worked closely with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the City of Austin, Bastrop and Travis Counties environmental teams prior to construction to ensure all environmental permits and expectations were met before breaking ground. Throughout construction, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and Best Management Practices (BMPs) are applied to protect the natural resources and minimize impacts to the environment.

This series publishes monthly and tracks key developments through construction and commissioning.
