Austin, TX – Jake Reint, Vice President of Public Affairs, and Andy Saenz, Public Affairs Director, at Flint Hills Resources, delivered an update on the BATX Pipeline project during the August 12th Airport Advisory Commission staff briefing. The presentation highlighted key project milestones, construction progress and safety performance since breaking ground on March 23, 2026.
As of July 2026, 61% of the pipeline has been installed. The presentation also included an update on project safety, with Flint Hills Resources reporting no lost time or vehicle incidents and more than 12,800 good catches to date. Throughout the remainder of 2026, Flint Hills Resources will continue construction and begin work on airport property. The goal remains to place the pipeline into service by July 2027.
